About Us

Mark Mazurek, the owner of MSM, has been an instructor since 2005 and MSM has since become one of Carlisle's most successful driving schools holding a current 92% pass rate in 2011. Being one of the few instructors in Cumbria to be fully Ordit registered (parts 1, 2 & 3). Mark has met the highest standards set by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).

As an instructor, Mark is regularly assessed by the DSA every two years to maintain his Ordit registration and between 2 & 8 years for Check Tests. He is a grade 6 fully qualified instructor (Click here for a copy of the check test sheet) These are to test the continued ability and fitness to give instruction.

Mark is an instructor training course provider by the dsa for fleet training and is fully qualified to grade 6 (click here to view Ordit test sheet), delivering high calibre quality fleet training to companies of all sizes and individuals. Mark is also the Chairman of Carlisle and District Association of Driving Instructors. He is also an institute of advanced motorist IAM ADI for cars and a fully qualified observer for motorcycles.

MSM are pleased to announce that we now have a driving instructor that is able to cover the west of the county, including Workington, Whitehaven, Cockermouth and Keswick. This is in addition to the existing services provided for the Carlisle, Dalston, Penrith, Cumbria and South West Scotland.
